Next Sunday (6th October) is our Harvest Thanksgiving service starting at 10.30am followed by Brunch. During this service we will be thinking about how Jesus uses a little to achieve a lot and looking at the work of Tearfund in South Sudan. Various people are making sweet treats to enjoy with the usual brunch that takes place after our all age service and there will be an opportunity to make donations towards the work of Tearfund. Also, as in previous years, we encourage people to bring packaged or tinned foods to the service as a tangible gift to support those in need in our own community. These gifts will be taken to the North Edinburgh Foodbank and distributed from there.
