Prayer (COVID-19 arrangements)

Weekly prayer topics are distributed in hard copy and by email to members of the congregation along with a weekly thought by our minister, Peter. If you are not receiving it and would like it please contact John Hodge at or on 07850 772223.
We have now decided to increase the frequency of our usual Saturday Prayer meeting to once every fortnight.  The next one is on Saturday 9th May 2020 at 8.30am. Please contact John Hodge (details above) if you wish the link to be able to attend it.

The power of prayer

We believe that prayer brings us closer to God, and is powerful and effective, whether it’s a simple quiet prayer alone, or in a prayer shared in a group. God hears and God cares.

Prayer calendar

We have a monthly prayer calendar allowing all who join in worship at Newhaven to spend a moment or two every day in a practical way supporting the needs of others. This is available by following the link to our publications page.

Bible study and prayer group

Feel free to join us at our Wednesday evening Bible Study and Prayer Group meeting. It’s held in the church building between 7.30 and 9 pm. If you’d like more information about the group, please contact our minister, Peter, on 0131 476 5212.
