In this morning’s Remembrance Day service, our minister, Peter, spoke of a Royal Navy sailor’s experiences after the sinking of the Laconia during the Second World War, and of the examples of bravery, compassion, and self-sacrifice he encountered from people on both sides of the conflict.

In our Remembrance Sunday Service, we remembered with great sadness the people who have given up their lives in the wars that have been fought.

Our Minister, Peter considered the incredible story of Franz Stigler and Charlie Brown in the Second World War, and Isaiah 2:1-4 (which can be found online on the BibleGateway website).
