Bluett considered the recent media coverage of the 75th anniversary of the Normandy landings and reflected on various stories arising from that time in history as well as relating an uplifting story about the movements towards healing and reconciliation being made by individuals and groups in the Middle East.

In his sermon this morning our Minister, Peter, continued his exploration of the Gospel according to Mark. He looked at the rejection of Jesus at Nazareth, the death of John the Baptist, the feeding of the five thousand and Jesus walking on water. In addressing the meaning of the passages, he explored the parallels between Jesus and Moses.
