Sermon on the Parable of the Good Samaritan- 20th August 2017

Luke 10:25-37

This morning our Minister, Peter, examined the well known and loved Parable of the Good Samaritan. He explored the role of the least prominent character in the parable, namely the Innkeeper, and what the impact of Jesus’s choice of characters would have been on those hearing the parable for the first time.

27/10/13 sermon – The Parable of the Good Samaritan and Judging others

In our Communion service today (Sunday 27th October 2013), our Minister Peter considered Luke 10:25-37 (The Parable of the Good Samaritan) and Matthew 7:1-5 (Judging others).  Peter also considered the awful story of the hatred experienced by Alexandre Ivo, a 14 year old boy in Brazil.
