Newhaven Church is looking for a manager for its well established Cafe, to work 24 hours per week over Tues, Wed and Thurs each week.
The right candidate will have experience of working in a similar cafe or restuarant in a senior role and will hold appropriate Food Hygiene Certification. The role involves managing all aspects of the Cafe including cooking, managing menu and supplies, managing staff and volunteers and cash management.
The Cafe is a central part of Newhaven Church’s mission to “serve Christ, each other and the community”. While an active Christian faith is not required, the right candidate will be sympathetic to the Christian faith and to Newhaven Church’s mission. The right candidate will have to go through the PVG disclosure process and receive a disclosure certificate.
Remuneration is £10 per hour.
