An Unanxious Presence- Sermon 7th July 2019

Reading:

Luke 12:13-21

In this sermon our Minister, Peter, read the Parable of the Rich Fool and considered the possibility that his accumulation of material things was borne out of not merely greed but anxiety. He looked at the angst ridden state of the world today and spoke about how we, as Church, are called, in the words of the theologian Walter Brueggemann, to be an unanxious presence.
