Sermon on the Just War Theory- 25th June 2017

Readings

Ecclesiastes 9:13-18

1 Peter 3:8-19

In today’s sermon, our minister, Peter, continued his series on the myth of redemptive violence by looking at the issue of war, and in particular, the just war theory. By tracing the history of Christian thought on war and violence back to its roots, he presented a challenge to much of the teaching which has been mainstream since, at least, the time of Augustine.
