Sermon on Jonah- 8th July 2018

Reading:

Jonah 1

In this sermon Rev. Peter Bluett tackles the story of Jonah from the book of the same name. Whilst noting the Western tendency to view it as a story about an individual prophet, he points to some compelling evidence which identifies it as a parable about the Hebrew nation’s attitude to its neighbours following the Babylonian exile.
