Sermon on Wisdom and Innocence- 5th August 2018

Reading:

Matthew 10:5-30

In this sermon Rev. Peter Bluett looks at the passage from Matthew in which Jesus sends the twelve disciples out into the world, with instructions on what to take and how to be. He considers the climate of persecution anticipated by Jesus and the ways in which Jesus’s instructions can be adapted to the current climate, so as to give guidance to Christians about the ways in which they can bear witness to the love of God.
